Return & Exchange Policy

To initiate a return or exchange, please use our customer portal HERE.

We want you to love your purchase from Chronicles. Please review our policy below before submitting a return request.

Store Credit Only

All eligible returns will be issued as store credit only.

Return Window
  • Returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery.

  • Once approved, returned items must be shipped back within 4 days.

Late Returns

Items shipped back outside of the approved 4-day return window will be ineligible for store credit and returned to the sender.

Return Eligibility

Items must be:

  • Unworn

  • Unwashed

  • Free of stains, makeup, spray tan, odors, smoke smell, or damage

  • Free of excessive human or animal hair

  • Returned with the original Chronicles tag attached

Items marked final sale are not eligible for return or exchange.

Condition of Returned Items

To qualify for store credit, all returned items must be received in their original condition, including:

  • Original tags attached

  • Properly folded and packaged

  • Buttoned and/or zipped appropriately

  • Free of makeup, deodorant, stains, or other marks

Denied Returns & Restocking Fee

If returned items do not meet the requirements outlined above, the return may be denied.

Items returned in less than original condition may be subject to a $15 restocking fee, which will be deducted from the issued store credit.

Items returned with visible wear, stains, odors, makeup smears, pet hair, smoke smell, or damage may be denied store credit entirely at the discretion of Chronicles.

Return Limits

To help maintain fairness as our boutique grows, customers are limited to returning a maximum of 7 items per calendar month.

This policy allows us to better manage inventory, discourage excessive bulk ordering with the intent to return, and continue operating in a way that supports a small business model rather than large-scale retail practices. Unlike major retailers, small businesses cannot absorb the cost of unlimited returns, and this policy helps us continue offering thoughtfully curated pieces at accessible prices.

Exchanges

Due to limited inventory, exchanges cannot be guaranteed. We recommend using your store credit to repurchase your desired item once your return has been processed.

Chronicles reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet the requirements outlined above.

Our collections are released in exclusive, limited drops, with styles produced in small quantities and often available for only a single season.
